Prenatal Yoga Rest - Introductory Workshop

The importance of true rest and relaxation during pregnancy cannot be under-stated - from helping to grow a healthier, happier baby to facilitating a smoother labour and birth - Relaxation is Key!

Yet there is a difference between superficial relaxation - and true, deep relaxation. True rest and relaxation isn’t just about resting your body, it’s about resting your mind and your nervous system too.

This workshop offers an opportunity to do just that - with some gentle yoga postures, birth-preparation exercises and calming breathwork - followed by a deeply restorative Yoga Nidrā meditation

Yoga Nidrā - or ‘Yoga Sleep’ - is a guided meditation practice that brings you into a state of deep rest - a place between waking and sleeping - while still remaining awake and aware. It offers numerous benefits when practiced prenatally and in preparation for birth - which we’ll be learning all about in this workshop!
